Mary's Wedding 2011 Purdue Theatre
By Stephen Massicotte | Directed by Mike Lenz

1/1
Mary's Wedding is a play that takes place in the dreams of the titular character, Mary, as she joyfully recalls her first love on the eve of her wedding.
In our production, we wanted to use music to take the audience on the intensely emotional journey that Mary undertakes; a journey that moves through the stages of new love, loss, and eventually acceptance. All sounds in the production, whether effects; ambiences; or otherwise were musically based and created by the same instruments used in the composition of the score. Acoustic guitar, cello, violin, and percussion were prominently featured in the creation of this sound score.
